How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Various Class 2 Day Drivers Wanted

    We are recruiting for temporary and permanent Class 2 Drivers working for companies in the the Greater Southampton area.

    All shifts available on permanent and temporary will be day shifts, no overnight stays available, so only submit your CV if you are happy to complete day shifts, starting and returning to a Southampton site.

    Drops vary from 8 to 20 per day depending on route and clients delivering to, with the potential for you to unload the delviery into the client site as and when required.

    Routes can range and cover Hampshire, surrounding counties, Southern England up to Bristol and London, as and when required.

    All vacancies will be payrolled as a PAYE employee basis through the agency on a weekly basis, no exceptions.

    Pay Ranges:

    * Temporary cover shifts will offer a few days of work on an ad-hoc basis and pay an hourly pay rate up to £20 per hour depending on experience.

    * Permanent shifts will cover Monday to Friday, with start times varying between 4:30 / 5:30am, 40 to 45-hours per week, basic salaries will range from £35,000 to £40,000.

    Essential Requirements:

    * All candidates will need to supply right to work documentation for varification.

    * Driving license and national insurance number for DVLA check to be completed.

    * Full clean driving license (or 6-points maximum).

    * Previous Class 2 driving experience in the UK.

    * Eligible to work as a temporary or permanent employee in the UK.
