How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Position: Site Manager

    Salary: £280.00 - £300.00 per day

    Contract Type: Freelance (4-8 weeks)

    The Role

    Daniel Owen are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the successful delivery of a new build housing development. This role requires a dynamic professional who can manage site operations efficiently while upholding commitment to quality, safety, and timely project completion.

    Key Responsibilities

    Oversee and coordinate all site activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
    Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
    Manage and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to ensure seamless workflow and high standards of workmanship.
    Monitor construction progress, identifying and addressing any potential issues to avoid delays.
    Conduct rigorous quality control inspections to uphold commitment to excellence.
    Maintain clear and effective communication with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
    Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with building regulations and industry best practices.

    Candidate Requirements

    Extensive experience as a Site Manager within the residential construction sector.
    SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
    CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
    First Aid at Work qualification.
