Our client is looking for a Sub-Assembly Operative to join their team. You will be responsible for manufacture, test and inspection of sub-assemblies as direct by the Sub-Assembly Cell Leader and Logistics Manager, in support of production targets.

Sub-Assembly Roles and Responsibilities

* Build, test and inspection of sub-assemblies

* Working on building Instrument panels which consists of the cluster module as well as smaller control components such as bilge blower and nav light buttons

* Help assemble the fuel tanks with doing the fuel senders calibration

* Utilise various hand and power tools

* Reading and working from engineering drawings

* Building the PPS bracket and assist in the manufacture of sub-assemblies

* Inspection of work manufactured and assembled

* Adopt good workmanship and Quality standards

* Carry out assembly duties in a timely and orderly manner per production schedules

* Assist in other areas of the manufacturing process as and when required

* Maintain workstation, tools and any equipment including PPE in a clean and tidy state

* Ensure strict adherence to the companies Health and Safety policy and operate in accordance with all other company policies and procedures

Sub-Assembly Ideal Candidate

* A good standard of general education

* General appreciation and understanding of conventional workshop power and hand tools

* Ability to read drawings, follow work instructions and procedures

Working Hours

07:00 – 15:00 Monday to Friday
