Expleo is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join a leading automotive OEM programme based in Solihull. This role sits within the Vehicle NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) function, responsible for delivering exceptional levels of vehicle refinement and perceived quality across the full product lifecycle. You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet customer expectations for noise-free and leak-free performance, with a focus on:
Squeak & Rattle (S&R)
Water and Air Ingress📍 Location: Solihull, UK

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support root cause investigations using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA, PDCA)
Analyse data from:
Manufacturing processes
Fleet and durability testing
Warranty claims and customer feedback
Drive issue resolution across cross-functional teams, including:
Design Engineering
Manufacturing
Supplier Quality
Support complete vehicle testing and validation
Ensure achievement of refinement and quality targets
Present technical findings to stakeholders and senior management
Apply strong influencing and negotiation skills to drive resolutionSkills & Experience Required
Automotive/Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience preferred
Ability to Plan work/Events and organise detailed activity to deliver the outcomes
Ability to lead and resolve complex issues through leading cross functional teams
Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Demonstable problem solving experience e.g. Root Cause Analysis, 8 Disciplines of problem solving
Good experience of quality tools (8D, Fish bone, FTA, PDCA, 5Y etc)
Ability to analyse large data that translates into next actions
Ability to learn quickly new skills quickly (Have a Growth Mind-set)
Demonstrate good negotiation skills to promote issues to next phase of investigation
A proactive and personable nature to engage with cross functional areas.
Microsoft package elements such Power Point and Excel to a intermediate level
Knowledge and understanding of automotive manufacturing processes.
Ability to deliver presentations to work groups and senior management
A full UK driving licenceEducation
Automotive/Engineering degree or equivalent automotive experience preferred
