Step Into the Classroom in a Supportive Primary School
A friendly and welcoming primary school in Wellingborough is looking for a dependable Cover Supervisor to support across the school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and is looking to gain hands-on experience within a classroom setting.
You will be responsible for overseeing lessons during teacher absences, ensuring pupils remain focused, engaged, and working through set activities in a positive learning environment.
Main Responsibilities
Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of primary year groups
Ensure pupils remain on task and engaged throughout lessons
Manage classroom behaviour in line with school expectations
Provide guidance and support to pupils where needed
Create a positive and well-organised classroom atmosphere
Communicate effectively with teaching staff regarding lesson outcomes
Support the wider school team when required throughout the day
About You
Experience working with children or within a school setting is desirable
Confident managing groups of pupils independently
Positive, approachable, and reliable
Strong communication and organisational skills
Able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
Passionate about supporting children's learning and development
Interested in gaining further experience within education
