We are recruiting for a Production Technician to join a growing manufacturing business in Hailsham.
This is a hands-on Production Technician role working within a production and manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will support machinery operation, equipment set-up, cleaning, maintenance and general production duties.
The Production Technician role would suit someone with previous manufacturing, production, factory, assembly or machine operating experience who is looking to develop new skills within a technical environment.
Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day-to-day production activities
* Operate and monitor machinery and equipment
* Carry out cleaning and maintenance tasks
* Set up and run production equipment
* Follow health and safety procedures
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace
* Work closely with the wider production team
Requirements
* Previous manufacturing, factory or production experience
* Good practical and mechanical ability
* Reliable and hard-working attitude
* Comfortable working in an industrial environment
* Good communication skills
* Full driving licence preferred
* Basic computer skills.
Desirable Experience
* Machine operating experience
* Forklift licence
* Maintenance experience
* Experience working with production equipment
