How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Role

    As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of your own desk driving and maintaining new business growth. You’ll be responsible for developing long-term client partnerships, delivering high-quality recruitment solutions, and consistently achieving strong billing performance.

    This role is suited to an experienced consultant who is confident managing key accounts, generating revenue, and operating with a high level of autonomy.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Driving new business through strategic sales activity and market mapping

    * Managing and developing key client accounts

    * Delivering the full 360 recruitment cycle at a high standard

    * Building and maintaining long-term client and candidate relationships

    * Consistently achieving and exceeding revenue targets

    * Negotiating terms, fees, and complex offers

    * Managing and developing candidate pipelines effectively

    * Acting as a trusted advisor within your specialist market

    * Supporting and mentoring junior consultants where appropriate

    What We’re Looking For

    * Proven experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant

    * Strong billing history and consistent performance

    * Commercially driven with a strategic mindset

    * Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

    * Confident negotiator with strong influencing ability

    * Highly organised with strong attention to detail

    * A proactive, ambitious and self-motivated individual

    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
