Are you a Moulding Setter, Technician or similar with knowledge of Injection, Compression or Transfer Moulding looking for the opportunity to progress into an Engineering position, where you will learn how to manage the production process from start to finish?
On offer is the opportunity to join a growing business who take on highly technical projects and specialise in flexible polymer parts. As part of a vertically integrated group, they have a large orderbook and a continuous in-flux on work.
In this role you will be helping to develop and adapt production processes for low volume, high valuable flexible polymer and rubber products. This will involve using your knowledge of Moulding to streamline production, work with other engineers to develop manufacturing processes and instructing Operators.
This role would suit a Junior or aspiring Production / Process Engineer from a Moulding (Injection, Compression or Transfer) background looking for training and direct progression into a technical role.
The Role:
Work with Operators to train them on new production processes
Liaise with Engineering and Tooling Managers to optimise designs for production
Reactively resolve any production issues on the shop floor
Support new product introduction by documenting and instructing production stuff on new processes
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 4:30pm, with a 12pm Finish on FridayThe Person:
