Are you an aspiring Metal Fabricator looking to join a well-established electrical switchboard manufacturer?
The company on offer is known for delivering bespoke metal fabrication solutions and is looking to expand its skilled workshop team. They are a rapidly growing entity and supply a wide range of sectors, including transport and healthcare.
In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal components to specification, working from technical drawings, and ensuring all work meets quality standards. To start, your focus will be the finishing of electrical components.
The suitable candidate will have knowledge of metal fabrication, especially finishing, and will have a hard-working attitude in order to develop their technical skills. Training can be provided on CNC machinery and other specialist aspects of the role.
The Role
Fabrication and assembly of metal components
MIG welding and sheet metal work
Reading and interpreting technical drawings
Operating hand tools and power tools
Monday to Friday (40 hours) with overtime available
The Person
Experience in the metal fabrication or similar role
Experience in the finishing of electrical components
