Are you an experienced Fabricator Welder looking to join a well-established engineering company with a strong reputation for quality and long-term staff development?
The company on offer is a growing, family-run engineering business specialising in steel fabrication, pipework, and structural work. With decades of experience, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality solutions while maintaining a supportive and team-oriented working environment.
You will be responsible for the fabrication and welding of a variety of steel components, including pipework, frameworks, and structural steel, working to precise engineering drawings.
This role involves MIG and MMA welding across a range of materials including mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium. You will also be required to operate fabrication machinery such as guillotines, drills, saws, and punches, while ensuring all work meets quality and health & safety standards.
The suitable candidate will have a strong fabrication background. Ideally, you will have experience using a variety of workshop machinery, however training can be provided on press brake machinery.
The Role
Fabrication of steelwork, pipework, and structural components
MIG and MMA welding on various materials
Operating workshop machinery (guillotines, drills, saws, punches)
Working from engineering drawings to tight specifications
Maintaining quality standards and completing route cards
40 hours a week (Monday - Friday)
The Person
Proven experience in fabrication and welding
Strong MIG / MMA welding experience
