Lead and deliver electrical building services designs across multiple sectors, ensuring robustness, compliance and innovation.
Produce and oversee electrical calculations, reports, specifications, and tender packages.
Act as a key contact for clients, project managers, architects and design partners, representing the business with confidence and professionalism.
Guide, mentor and develop junior and intermediate engineers, building capability within the electrical discipline.
Work closely with mechanical, sustainability, BIM and compliance specialists to deliver coordinated, high‑quality solutions.
Champion low‑carbon thinking, energy efficiency and modern engineering approaches across all projects.
Take ownership of project delivery, resource planning, design quality and client satisfaction.
Play a strategic role in business development, fee proposals, and strengthening the firm's market reputation.
Support the future direction of the electrical team as part of the succession pathway toward Associate Director.What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Senior or Principal Electrical Design Engineer within a building services' consultancy.
Strong working knowledge of relevant UK standards, regulations, and industry best practice.
Proficiency in design and calculation software such as Amtech/Trimble, AutoCAD, Revit, and lighting simulation tools.
A collaborative, people‑focused leader who enjoys mentoring others.
Confident communicator with the ability to manage client relationships and steer design reviews.
Passion for sustainable design, net‑zero strategies and technical excellence.
Degree‑qualified; IEng or CEng (or working towards) is highly advantageous.What's on Offer
