How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Trainee Radio Engineer

    £26,000 - £28,000 + Training + Progression + Van / Fuel Card + Benefits

    Manchester (Commutable from: Bolton, Rochdale, Bury, Salford, Oldham, Radcliffe, Wigan, Heywood, Middleton and surrounding)

    Do you have a Telecoms, Cabling or Electronics background looking to join a national-leader within the Communications sector willing to provide full Multi-skilled training on a range of systems?

    This is a highly-varied field / workshop role where you will have a clear development plan to increase your technical ability.

    The company are a leading provider of IT/ Communication systems to a variety of blue chip clients. As a result of recent growth and investment they are looking to expand their engineering team.

    Within this position, no two days are the same. You will be doing a mix of customer and workshop based tasks. This will vary from component level Radio repairs through to Electronic / IT installation.

    This role would suit an aspiring hands on Engineer, looking for a stable, full time permanent role with a company known for investing in their staff.

    The role.

    Repair, maintenance and Installation of Radio and Electronic equipment.
    Days based role (Monday - Friday).
    Hybrid working (workshop and field-based)
    The person.

    Radio, Telecommunications, IT or Electronics background.
    Full UK driving license.
    Commutable to North Manchester.
