How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a Conveyancing Assistant / Paralegal to join our client and support their busy Property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, proactive individual looking to develop their career within a well‑established legal practice.

    About the Role

    In this role, you will support Conveyancers and Solicitors in managing a varied caseload of property transactions. You will play a key part in ensuring files progress smoothly from instruction to completion, providing high‑quality administrative and legal support throughout.

    Key Responsibilities

    File Management: Assisting with opening, maintaining, and closing conveyancing files in line with compliance requirements.

    Client Communication: Acting as a first point of contact for clients, estate agents, lenders, and other third parties.

    Document Preparation: Drafting standard documents, preparing contract packs, and assisting with searches and enquiries.

    Administrative Support: Managing correspondence, updating case management systems, and ensuring all documentation is accurately recorded.

    Progression of Transactions: Supporting fee earners with the progression of sales, purchases, remortgages, and transfers of equity.

    Compliance & Due Diligence: Carrying out ID checks, AML procedures, and ensuring all regulatory obligations are met.

    Post‑Completion Work: Assisting with SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications, and finalising files.

    About You

    Experience in a conveyancing or legal support role

    Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering outstanding client service.

    Confident using case management systems and Microsoft Office applications
