How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    The Company
    Join our team, a respected independent builder’s merchant serving the Southwest since 2009. With a commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service.

    We’re expanding our delivery team at our Malmesbury Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

    ​​The Role

    We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team at Malmesbury. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

    Specific Experience & Skills Required

    * To transport goods and materials to designated locations

    * Ensure safe and timely delivery of products

    * Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations

    * Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

    * Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance

    * Assist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary

    Requirements:

    * HIAB Class 2 licence preferred

    * Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role

    * Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record

    * Strong attention to detail and time management skills

    Week:1 Monday to Friday, 07:30 -17:00

    Week:2 Monday to Friday 07:30-17:00 Saturday 08:00-12:00
