Search Consultancy is looking for an experienced Telehandler Operator to join our busy construction teams across Newcastle. We are partnering with leading contractors and major house builders who require precision, safety, and pace to manage site logistics and material movements.

If you are a ticketed operator who thrives in a productivity-driven environment and has mastered the complexities of busy site lifts, we have immediate starts and long-term runs of work available now.

The Role

Machine Operation: Safe operation of the Telescopic Handler to move materials, load/unload deliveries, and supply various trades.
Safety Leadership: Ensuring all lifts are carried out in accordance with site-specific lifting plans and strict health and safety protocols.
Site Coordination: Working closely with Site Managers and Banksmen to ensure the smooth flow of materials across the project.
Daily Maintenance: Conducting and recording thorough pre-start machine inspections and reporting any defects immediately.
Productivity Driven: We need operators who can keep the program moving efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of safety and technical accuracy.Requirements

Qualifications: A valid CPCS or NPORS (with CSCS logo) Telescopic Handler ticket is mandatory.
Medical: A valid Safety Critical Medical certificate is essential for this position.
CSCS Card: A valid Blue or Gold card is highly preferred.
Experience: Extensive experience operating 14m+ machines on busy residential, commercial, or infrastructure sites.
PPE: Must have your own full 5-point PPE (Hard Hat, High-Vis, Steel Toe Boots, etc.).
Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to hitting strict project deadlines as part of the site team.
