Tradewind Recruitment are proud to be supporting a well-established FE College in Bolton in their search for a permanent Head of Health & Social Care to join their leadership team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced curriculum leader or an ambitious Health & Social Care educator ready to take the next step into middle leadership.
The college is looking for a passionate and driven individual who can lead and develop the department, drive high standards of teaching and learning, and support students in achieving excellent outcomes.
The successful candidate will:
Have experience teaching Health & Social Care within an FE or secondary setting
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
Have previous experience in a leadership role or show clear readiness to step into a Head of Department position
Be committed to raising achievement and delivering an engaging curriculum
Hold relevant teaching qualifications and ideally have experience within further educationThis permanent role offers the opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking college with excellent facilities and a strong commitment to staff development.
