How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    About the Company:

Alysian is a high-performing, boutique advisory firm specializing in delivering tailored strategic and technological solutions for leading private equity firms and their portfolio companies. With decades of combined cross-sector expertise, Alysian excels in bridging commercial vision to reality with technology execution — enabling rapid value creation at enterprise scale. We operate with a uniquely agile delivery model, combining deep domain expertise in digital strategy, transformation, and technology innovation. Our entrepreneurial culture and speed-to-impact approach have earned us repeated impact recognition from leading PE firms. At Alysian, we build longterm partnerships grounded in trust, performance, and a relentless drive for client success.

    Core values:

    • Data Driven – Strategic advisory based on a depth of relevant data.
    • Speed & Precision – Agile delivery with tangible results.
    • Impact-Driven – Measurable outcomes aligned to strategy.
    • Expertise & Trusted Advisor – Deep domain knowledge with integrity.
    • Entrepreneurial – Proactive problem-solving and ownership mentality.

    Role Context

Alysian is building a premier Tech M&A Advisory practice focused on delivering technology-enabled value creation for Private Equity clients and their portfolio companies across Europe and the US. The practice supports clients across the full M&A lifecycle, positioning Alysian as a trusted partner from deal execution through post-close value realisation.

We are seeking hands-on, impact-driven individuals who will play a critical role in value creation initiatives, including IT due diligence with a value creation lens, technology strategy, carve-outs, and transformation delivery. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and strong client-facing capability. Experience in Private Equity or PE-backed environments is highly desirable.

    Key Responsibilities

Depending on experience, the role will cover at least two of the following areas:

IT Due Diligence & Deal Advisory: Lead or support technology due diligence focused on value creation upside rather than risk alone; assess target technology environments, cybersecurity posture, and IT organisation maturity; support SPA and TSA structuring including liabilities, transitional risks, and standalone costs; translate findings into executive-ready reports, investment insights, and value creation plans.

Carve-Out & Separation Execution: Define IT separation strategies and ensure Day 1 readiness; design and manage TSA services, governance, and exit plans; lead the IT workstream within Separation Management Offices; manage vendor transitions, SLAs, hypercare, and TSA exit to BAU.

Transformation Assurance & Program Recovery: Shape transformation business cases and support vendor selection; design governance and PMO structures; assess or recover at-risk programs and ensure benefits realisation; oversee cutover, deployment readiness, change, and hypercare activities.

IT Cost Optimisation & Procurement: Lead IT spend diagnostics and benchmarking; drive vendor negotiations, RFx processes, and contract optimisation; establish Vendor Management Office capabilities and procurement operating models.

Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with finance, legal, operations, and deal teams to align technology strategy with M&A objectives; provide clear senior-level communication to stakeholders and investors; lead complex technology programs ensuring delivery against scope, time, and budget.

    Candidate Profile

    • Minimum 6 years of consulting or advisory experience, including at least 2 years at a top tier consulting firm. Experience advising Private Equity, working in PE-backed companies, or PE-focused roles is desirable but not mandatory.
    • Strong hands-on experience in technology-enabled M&A, transformation, or systems delivery, ideally with early career exposure in system integration followed by strategy consulting. Demonstrated depth in at least one area: ERP transformation (e.g. SAP or Dynamics), IT infrastructure and cloud, or data, analytics, and AI. Experience with CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce or Dynamics CRM) would be an advantage but is not essential.
    • MBA from a leading business school and/or a degree from a top international university with relevant postgraduate or professional certifications desirable.
    • Proven track record delivering complex M&A and transformation programs, strong project and vendor management skills, excellent executive communication, and strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.

    Benefits

    Why Join Alysian Consulting?

Our vision is to become the leading independent boutique tech advisory firm, transforming value creation in private equity through technology and data. We partner with top-tier PE firms (mega-funds in Europe & the US) to drive sustainable growth for portfolio companies and communities.

At Alysian, you’ll work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and investment—where every project has a measurable impact on business performance. We partner with top-tier private equity firms, giving you access to high-profile transformations, boardroom conversations, and some of the most exciting portfolio companies in the market.

    We offer:

Frontline PE exposure, from day one

    • Client-facing work with US/EU Mega and Large Cap deal teams and PortCo CXOs; you lead modules that move EBITDA, not just make slides.

Outcome ownership in small strike teams

    • Leadership access, clear mandates, and the autonomy to design and ship cost-out / value-creation plays in weeks.

    Remote-first with limited travel

    • Work from anywhere in UK with sustainable US/EU overlap; optional office use; travel about 2–3 weeks/year.

Builder’s seat in a scaling CoE

    • Join the founding wave—shape operating models, codify playbooks, and help build the platform the firm scales on.

    Meritocracy with real velocity

    • Progress based on outcomes; accelerated responsibility and pod leadership for top performers.
