How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Are you a Psychology graduate or aspiring educational psychologist looking to gain valuable school-based experience? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Psychology, Autism & SEN Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across the school.
    This rewarding role is ideal for individuals interested in child development, autism, mental health, speech and language, or future careers in education and psychology.

    The Role The successful candidate will:

    Support pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), ADHD, speech and language needs, and other SEN
    Work 1:1 and in small groups to support learning and emotional development
    Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive learning environment
    Use strategies such as visual supports, sensory breaks, and positive behaviour techniques
    Encourage pupils’ confidence, communication, and social skills
    Support pupils both inside and outside the classroomThe Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who:

    Has a background in Psychology, Education, Health & Social Care, or a related field
    Has experience working with children or young people, ideally within education or care settings
    Demonstrates patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
    Has an interest in autism, SEN, and child development
    Is proactive, reliable, and passionate about supporting pupils with additional needsThe School Offers
