How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

With strong business growth and investment underway, you’ll play a key role in defining how the operation evolves, working directly with senior leadership to bring fresh thinking, practical solutions and meaningful change.

From day one, you’ll have the autonomy and backing to make a real difference across production, systems, and people.

    The role:

You’ll take overall responsibility for day-to-day operations, ensuring the business runs smoothly while constantly looking for ways to improve.

    Key areas include:

Leading Production, Manufacturing, Stores, Purchasing and Quality

Driving operational performance and continuous improvement initiatives

Developing KPIs, reporting frameworks and performance insights

Enhancing ERP usage to support planning and decision-making

Supporting expansion projects and operational scalability

Managing budgets, resources, and cross-functional collaboration

    Experience/skills:

This role would suit someone who:

Has experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or production environment

Brings a practical, common-sense approach to problem solving

Enjoys building structure, improving processes and implementing change

Is a hands-on leader who can engage teams and bring people with them

Is comfortable working in a growing, evolving business rather than a heavily regulated, rigid environment

Has strong analytical skills and a passion for using data to drive decisions
