I’m working with an award-winning, multi-disciplinary design consultancy that continues to secure some of the UK’s most high-profile development projects.
Due to continued growth, they’re looking to bring in a Principal Civil Engineer to play a key role in delivering a strong pipeline of residential, commercial and education schemes.
This is a senior, client-facing position with real influence over projects, team direction and technical delivery — without being tied to the office full-time.
The Role
Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes across residential, commercial and education projects
Oversee drainage, highways and external works design
Manage projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support
Act as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
Mentor and support junior engineers
Drive quality, efficiency and technical excellence across projects
What They’re Looking For
Strong background in civil engineering design (drainage & infrastructure)
Experience working on residential and/or commercial developments
Proven ability to manage projects and liaise with clients
Knowledge of approvals (S38, S104, S278 etc.)
Comfortable leading teams and reviewing technical work

£65000.00 - £80000.00 per year
