The Role
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils while creating a structured and positive classroom environment. You will work closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Prepare pupils effectively for SATs and the transition to secondary school
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Monitor pupil progress and provide clear feedback and support
Build strong relationships with families and the wider school community
About You
The ideal Year 6 Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience teaching within Key Stage 2. Strong classroom management skills, enthusiasm, and a passion for inspiring young learners are all essential for this role.
