TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and supportive school in Caerphilly that is looking to appoint a dedicated HLTA on a long-term temporary basis. The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where staff are encouraged to develop professionally and pupils are supported to reach their full potential.
The school is looking for a proactive HLTA to support teaching and learning across the school from September. The successful HLTA will be expected to deliver planned lessons, support pupils across a range of abilities, and work closely with teaching staff to maintain a positive and engaging classroom environment. This role would also suit a newly qualified teacher looking to gain further classroom experience within a supportive setting.
The successful HLTA will have:
HLTA qualification or equivalent
Experience supporting teaching and learning within a school setting
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive and flexible approach to working within the classroom
A ‘can-do’ attitude and passion for supporting young people
