An inclusive and supportive primary school in Basingstoke is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic SEN TA to join their team as soon as possible. This is a rewarding opportunity to support children with additional needs in a nurturing environment where every pupil is encouraged to succeed.
The Role
As a SEN TA, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored classroom support for pupils with Special Educational Needs. The successful SEN TA will help create a positive learning atmosphere where children feel confident, supported, and motivated to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support
Assist with personalised learning plans and activities
Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning needs
Encourage independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
Work collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals

The ideal SEN TA will be patient, proactive, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential. Strong communication skills and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
