Fully remote working - Required to cover hearings both remotely and, where required by the court, in person.
3 months initial contract – likely to be extended
Job Responsibilities:
* All aspects of advice and support under Care Act 2014
* Court applications in the Court of Protection under the Mental Capacity Act 2005
* Mental Health Law including advice to Approved Mental Health Professionals and associated court applications
* Adult safeguarding
* Ordinary residence issues and disputes between other local authorities.
* Required to cover hearings both remotely and, where required by the court, in person.
You must have:
* Qualified Lawayer
* Experience of working directly within a local authority
