How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our clients team to work on high end Bespoke projects .

    The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results and a professional appearance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic to contribute to diverse projects across construction and refurbishment sites.

    The position involves working both independently and as part of a team, with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

    Responsibilities

    * Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or finishes.

    * Apply paint, varnish, or other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with precision and attention to detail.

    * Mix paints and colours to achieve desired shades and consistency.

    * Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies.

    * Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout the project duration.

    * Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress or any issues encountered.

    * Assist in the setup and breakdown of work areas as required.

    Experience

    * Prior experience in construction painting or related roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.

    * Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate travel between sites.

    * Good communication skills in English are essential for understanding instructions and liaising with clients and colleagues.

    * Familiarity with different types of paints, coatings, and application techniques is advantageous.

    * Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining high standards of quality.
