MFL Teacher

PK Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic MFL Teacher to join a secondary school in Wakefield from September 2026. This is a full-time opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students and deliver engaging Modern Foreign Languages lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The successful candidate must be able to teach French to KS4 and demonstrate strong classroom management skills alongside a commitment to high-quality teaching and learning.

The Role:

Teaching MFL across KS3 and KS4
Delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Teaching French to KS4 students
Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress
Maintaining a safe, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Following all school behaviour, safeguarding, and curriculum policies
Supporting students to achieve their full potential

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching MFL within secondary schools
Ability to teach French to KS4
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passionate, organised, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel and occasional school-related visits may be required.

Pay:

£180 – £230 per day
