DT Teacher

PK Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated DT Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in the Leeds area. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity starting ASAP and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year, or until the postholder returns.

The school is seeking a confident and engaging teacher who can inspire students and deliver high-quality Design & Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

Delivering engaging and effective DT lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Planning and delivering lessons in line with the national curriculum
Supporting student progress and maintaining high expectations in the classroom
Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment
Working collaboratively with staff and contributing to the wider school community

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Design & Technology within secondary schools
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Passionate about delivering creative and engaging lessons
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Additional Requirements:

Candidates must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle, as travel and occasional school-related visits may be required.

Pay:

£180 – £230 per day
