How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Your new company
Our client is a leading global organisation in the commercial vehicle industry and is seeking an IT Domain Specialist to be based form their site in Milton Keynes.

    Your new role
Acting as the local SME for a defined business domain (Sales), you will ensure the effective operation, stability, and alignment of both local and centrally managed IT apps with business processes. The role is responsible for maintaining compliance, IT policies, data security standards, coordinating releases/changes, facilitating issue resolution, and ensuring documentation and process standardisation. As the primary interface between the local market and central IT, the role translates business needs into aligned solutions. They are seeking someone with strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems within a multi‑country environment, excellent stakeholder management, communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing across teams and regions.

    What you'll need to succeed

Strong understanding of enterprise IT systems and applications (ERP, WMS, Finance, HR), and how they support end‑to‑end business processes within a multi‑country environment.
Proven ability to align business needs with global IT standards, balancing governance with practical market requirements.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across local teams and central HQ functions.
Structured and analytical problem‑solver, able to diagnose issues, drive resolution, operational efficiencies, and support continuous improvement.
Experience in documenting processes, systems, and integrations, with a focus on clarity, standardisation, and operational resilience.
Solid knowledge of IT governance, data protection, and information security principles, with a strong commitment to compliance and best practice.
    What you'll get in return
You can expect a salary up to £50,000 (depending on experience), plus pension (5%), annual bonus (up to 10%), private medical, life assurance (x4) and hybrid working (2 to 3 days a week onsite).

What you need to do now
If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.

*Please only apply if you live within a 30-to-45-minute commute of Milton Keynes and have experience of driving operational efficiencies through the adoption of IT / Digital systems (Applications, Data and AI) and new ways of working. This is not a hands-on technical role and would suit someone working in an IT Business Partner role or coming from a Business Analysis / IT Change background with strong skills in stakeholder engagement, process mapping and continuous improvement.
