TeacherActive is proud to be working with welcoming and supportive nurseries across Leicester, who are looking to appoint a Nursery Assistant on a part-time basis. These settings provide safe, engaging and stimulating environments where children are encouraged to learn through play and develop key early years skills.
The nurseries are looking for a Nursery Assistant to work 20 hours per week across different days on an ongoing basis. The successful Nursery Assistant will support children within the Early Years setting, assisting with daily routines, indoor and outdoor activities, and helping to create a positive learning environment for children aged 0-5 years.
The successful Nursery Assistant will have:
Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent desirable
Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage / EYFS
A caring and patient nature
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work across different shifts and days

£14.25 - £15.50 per hour
