We are currently working on behalf of one of our clients who are looking to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the Commercial Manager on a legacy PCSA cladding project based out of their Hertfordshire office.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Assistant QS looking to gain valuable exposure on a specialist construction project while working closely alongside an experienced commercial lead.
The Role
* Supporting the Commercial Manager across all commercial aspects of a live cladding project
* Assisting with subcontractor management, valuations, variations, and cost reporting
* Working within a design & build contract environment
* Supporting procurement and commercial administration
* Helping to ensure projects are delivered within budget and contractual requirements
Requirements
* Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
* Good understanding of Design & Build contracts
* Previous experience within construction or specialist subcontracting desirable
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
