How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Infor M3 Technical Support Lead

    Location: North Staffordshire
Salary Guide: £45,000 - £60,000 (salaries outside of the guide range will be considered)
Position Type: Full-time, Permanent (Hybrid offered after initial bedding in period)

Are you an Infor M3 Technical expert ready to step into a high-impact, standalone role where you can truly own system strategy? A premier, rapidly growing manufacturing organisation in North Staffordshire is going through a multi-million-pound site investment and expansion phase. To support this exciting trajectory, they are introducing this brand-new position. While the company currently utilises the finance and supply chain elements of Infor M3, they need a dedicated technical lead to unlock the platform's full capabilities particularly by integrating and expanding it across production and manufacturing departments.

This is a rare opportunity to bridge the gap between technical operations and business strategy. You will serve as the site's ultimate system authority, driving efficiency and guiding cross-departmental teams to ensure the business is leveraging the platform correctly. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want a role where your work directly shapes the digital transformation of an expanding business, this is the perfect next step for your career.

Please note: While the initial salary guide is up to £60,000, if your salary expectations exceed this bracket, we still strongly encourage you to apply. Because this is a brand-new function within the business, the company is highly focused on securing top-tier talent. If you possess the functional expertise across the system, alongside proven experience leading a business through system utilisation and functionality, your salary expectations will be fully considered.

Responsibilities of this Infor M3 Technical Lead role are:

System Ownership: Act as the sole technical authority and guide for the Infor M3 ERP system across all business units.
Platform Expansion: Lead the rollout and functional implementation of unutilised Infor M3 modules, specifically moving into production and automated manufacturing workflows.
Process Alignment: Configure and optimise automated workflows, bills of materials, and production scheduling systems.
Cross-Departmental Guidance: Educate, align and partner with finance, supply chain and production teams to ensure optimal system usage.
System Upgrades: Oversee crucial system upgrades, patches and middleware integrations (e.g., MEC, APIs).
Reporting & Data: Design, manage and deliver robust operational data reports and dashboards to support executive decision-making.
Operational Stability: Provide 2nd and 3rd-line technical support to minimise downtime in a fast-paced production environment.Qualifications & Experience for this Infor M3 Technical Lead role are:

ERP Expertise: Deep, comprehensive understanding of Infor M3 functional configuration and technical capabilities.
Industry Background: Proven experience working within a fast-paced automated manufacturing environment (such as Food, FMCG or Chemical processing).
Technical Workflows: Practical knowledge of building and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs), production workflows and inventory tracking.
Reporting Skills: Strong capability in database querying, reporting tools or SQL to pull and analyse business metrics.
Communication: Exceptional ability to translate complex technical ERP functionalities to non-technical operational and production teams.Benefits of this Infor M3 Technical Lead role are:

Salary Guide: Starting bracket of £45k - £60k, with flexibility for the right person.
System Autonomy: A newly created position allowing you to fully own and shape the company's long-term ERP roadmap.
Flexible Working: On-site presence required during the initial bedding-in period, with a structured hybrid working model offered thereafter.
Career Growth: Join a company backed by major multi-million-pound capital investments, offering immense long-term career progression and digital project leadership
