Many of the young people we support simply need safe, stable adults who will show up consistently, believe in them, and offer meaningful, relational care.
As we expand, we are recruiting Therapeutic Care Practitioners to work across both houses Practitioners may work in either or both homes depending on the needs of the young people and the service.
About the Role
This is a rewarding, relationship-based role where no two days are the same. You will support young people with daily routines, emotional wellbeing, education, and activities - helping them to feel safe, empowered, and able to thrive.
This could include cooking together, attending activities, supporting family contact, or offering calm reassurance during difficult moments. What matters most is your ability to show up consistently with empathy, curiosity, and integrity.
Shift Pattern
Typical shifts are07:00-22:00, followed by a sleep-in (paid separately) and handover finishing at 07:30
Full-time roles are worked across an average of5 days per week
We avoid back-to-back shifts and build rotas that protect work-life balance

About You
Passionate about supporting vulnerable young people
Patient, resilient, and emotionally intelligent
Able to remain calm in challenging situations
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Willing to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
Essential / Desirable Criteria
Essential:
A genuine commitment to working with children and young people
Experience in a similar role
Ability to work within a residential care setting
A full, valid UK driving licence (essential due to the nature of the role)
Enhanced DBS check (to be completed prior to employment)Desirable:
Experience in children's residential care, youth work, or therapeutic settings
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
Understanding of trauma-informed or therapeutic care approaches
