The Role:
Work alongside the Headteacher to help lead the strategic and operational direction of the school. You will support school improvement, staff development, teaching and learning, and help make sure the school is well placed for continued growth. This is a key senior leadership role with real influence across the wider life of the school.
The Candidate:
You are an experienced senior leader with the judgement, resilience, and credibility to make a real impact. You combine strong leadership skills with a clear understanding of teaching and learning, communicate well with staff and stakeholders, and know how to balance day-to-day operational demands with long-term strategic planning.
Requirements
Leadership Experience – Proven leadership experience within a school setting.
Teaching and Learning – A strong understanding of effective classroom practice, staff development, and school improvement.
Communication – Clear and confident verbal and written communication with staff, governors, parents, and external stakeholders.
Enhanced DBS – Must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
Career Commitment – A strong commitment to leadership, pupil outcomes, and the continued success of the school.
