Randstad is seeking experienced Paint Sprayer for a rewarding 24 month fixed term contract.

The Role: Paint Sprayer

Location: Peterlee (On-site)

Contract: 24 months fixed term assignment till Nov 2027

Working Hours: 36.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday

Excellent Pay Rates:

Day Shift: £17.28 - £19.55 per hour

Afternoon Shift (20% premium): £20.74 - £23.46 per hour

Night Shift (35% premium): £23.33 - £26.39 per hour

Overtime 1.5 (Mon-Sat): £25.92 - £29.33 per hour

Overtime 2 (Sundays): £34.56 - £39.10 per hour

Shift Timings:

Days: 08:00 - 16:00 (Mon-Thurs), 08:00 - 12:30 (Fri)

Afternoons: 16:00 - 00:00 (Mon-Thurs), 12:30 - 17:00 (Fri)

Nights: 00:00 - 08:00 (Mon-Thurs), 17:00 - 21:30 (Fri)

Responsibilities:

Adhere to H&S and PPE requirements
Work under your own initiative as well as part of a team
Paint spray various sized panels
Have a good eye for quality
Manually set paint machines
Carry out safety and quality checks on machine components
Working towards production targets
Familiarity with paint systems or paint spraying.
Previous experience ideally in wet on wet paint but other spray systems experience will be considered.
NVQ Level 2/3 in Paint Spraying desired
