Support Young Learners in a Year 1 Classroom
A friendly and inclusive primary school in Northampton is looking for a dedicated Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities
Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities and learning tasks
Provide one-to-one and small group support to Year 1 pupils
Help create a positive, engaging, and well-organised learning environment
Encourage pupils' confidence, participation, and social development
Support children with phonics, reading, writing, and numeracy activities
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
Promote positive behaviour and support classroom routines

Experience working with children or young people in any setting
