Quality Control Engineer

A Quality Control Engineer with a manufacturing or engineering background involving complex electronic assemblies and with strong knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001, will join the growing product development and manufacturing department of a cutting-edge Technical Consultancy. The ideal Quality Engineer will possess the following:
* Proven experience of working within a manufacturing environment for complex electronic assemblies.
* Experience with quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and configuration controlled environments.
* The ability to apply specifications and quality requirements; to support root cause analysis and implement preventative actions.
* Good documentation skills; the ability to manage multiple tasks and support continuous improvement activities.
This Quality Control Engineer role will involve:
* Inspection of incoming goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
* Monitoring adherence to manufacturing quality processes and identifying problems.
* Final inspection of outgoing products including associated documentation.
* Ensuring configuration control compliance by verifying correct parts are built.
* Supporting process development throughout the full manufacturing processes
