How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Inclusion and Intervention Officer - Secondary School
    Location: Northampton
    Start Date: ASAP
    Contract: Full-Time | Permanent Role

    A welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Northampton is seeking to appoint a committed and proactive Inclusion and Intervention Officer to join their pastoral and student support team as soon as possible. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who is driven to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people who require additional guidance, intervention, and support within education.

    Your Role Will Include:

    Delivering targeted interventions for students experiencing behavioural, emotional, or social challenges
    Supporting pupils at risk of disengagement, poor attendance, or exclusion
    Working closely with pastoral leaders, SENDCos, safeguarding staff, and external agencies
    Building positive and consistent relationships with students across Key Stages 3 and 4
    Monitoring student progress, wellbeing, and engagement with learning
    Promoting positive behaviour strategies and supporting restorative approaches within schoolWe're Looking For Someone Who:

    Has experience working with young people in schools, youth work, mentoring, care, or similar settings
    Can confidently support students with SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, or behavioural challenges
    Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
    Is calm, resilient, empathetic, and able to remain professional under pressure
    Is passionate about inclusion, student wellbeing, and educational outcomes
    Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to obtain one)What You'll Gain:
