How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Logistics Manager – Residential Development
    Location: Ealing
    Project: Multi-Phase Residential Scheme
    Contract Type: 3 month Temp
    Salary: £24 - 26 per hour.

    We are seeking an experienced and proactive Logistics Manager to join our team on a large multi-phase residential development. This is a key site-based role focused on supporting the successful completion, handover, and final delivery of the project.

    The successful candidate will take ownership of site logistics, coordinate trades, manage access and deliveries, and ensure the project finishes safely, efficiently, and to programme.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Coordinate and manage all site logistics operations across multiple phases

    * Direct and oversee subcontractors and trades on a daily basis

    * Manage labour flow, deliveries, waste management, and site access

    * Support the site management team during final fit-out and handover stages

    * Ensure all trades work efficiently and in line with programme requirements

    * Maintain safe pedestrian and vehicle movements around site

    * Liaise with project managers, site managers, and subcontractors to resolve logistical challenges

    * Assist with quality control, snagging coordination, and apartment handovers

    * Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure the site remains organised and compliant

    * Help drive programme completion and smooth client handovers

    Requirements

    * Previous experience as a Logistics Manager on residential construction projects

    * Strong understanding of multi-phase residential developments

    * Ability to coordinate multiple trades and maintain programme momentum

    * Excellent communication and organisational skills

    * CSCS Card required

    * SMSTS or SSSTS preferred

    * Strong knowledge of health & safety procedures on live construction sites
