How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Business Administrator – Sunderland
    Full Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday
    Working Hours:
    8:00am till 4:30pm Monday to Thursday
    8:00am till 1:30pm Friday
    Our client, a leading provider of high‑quality fire protection services, is seeking a Business Administrator to join their Sunderland office. The company supports commercial and multi‑occupancy environments with inspections, surveys and installations, ensuring full compliance and safety across all projects.
    You will work closely with the office manager, providing day‑to‑day administrative support to keep operations running smoothly.
    Key Responsibilities
    *
    ISO Compliance Support — Assist with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 processes, audits, documentation and implementation.
    *
    Accommodation Booking — Arrange accommodation for site staff, ensuring efficient and cost‑effective planning.
    *
    Training Coordination — Book training courses, update the training matrix and track renewals.
    *
    Employee Daily Support — Monitor and manage daily requirements of employees, including schedules and compliance needs.
    *
    Construction Administration — Support operational and administrative tasks within a construction‑based environment.
    What We’re Looking For
    *
    Experience with ISO 9001 & ISO 14001 (audits, implementation, document control).
    *
    Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    *
    Ability to manage training records and coordinate staff development.
    *
    Experience booking accommodation or travel for site teams.
    *
    Previous experience in a construction or fire‑protection environment.
    *
    Proactive, detail‑focused and confident communicating with both office and site‑based staff
