How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Field Service Engineer (Telehandlers / Heavy Plant / REME)
    £38,000 - OTE: £45,000 - £52,000 + Overtime + Bonus + Vehicle + Pension + Specialist Training + Share Save Scheme
    Home-based role ideally located: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Worcester, Coventry, Stoke-on-Trent, Stafford, Telford

    Are you a Field Service Engineer looking to work for a nationally renowned company that has a great reputation for looking after their staff, providing specialist manufacturer training, plenty of overtime, and additional bonuses to maximise your earnings?

    On offer is a fantastic opportunity to get on board with a market-leading business working in a varied role covering a regional patch, which will see you receive ongoing training and development on their wide range of equipment.

    In this role, you will run diagnostics, service, and maintain a variety of the company's wide product range. This will be a Monday to Friday role with no staying away and plenty of optional overtime available.

    The role would suit a Field Service Engineer with experience working on mobile plant, telehandlers, or similar equipment.

    The Role:

    Service, maintain and repair a wide range of mobile plant and materials handling equipment.
    Run diagnostics and error checks on state-of-the-art software.
    Ongoing training and development opportunities.

    The Person:

    Field Service Engineer
    Experience working on Telehandlers and Mobile Plant Equipment.
    Full UK Driving license.
