Nursery Practitioner – Level 3

Salary: £23 000-£25 000 per annum
Job Type: Full-Time | Temporary
Start Date: 28th May 2026
Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are reserved for candidates with substantial experience and/or relevant training. Pay is determined in line with school expectations and Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.

A welcoming and supportive nursery setting in Redbridge is seeking two enthusiastic and committed Level 3 Nursery Practitioners to join their dedicated early years team on a full-time basis.

The Role

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in supporting childrens early learning and development while helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
• Supporting childrens learning, development, and wellbeing
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Observing, assessing, and recording childrens progress
• Assisting with planning and implementing age-appropriate activities
• Promoting safeguarding, health, and safety procedures at all times
• Encouraging childrens social, emotional, and physical development

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Previous nursery or early years experience preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
