How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Due to the continued growth of the business, we are now looking to strengthen our recruitment team and recruit a Recruitment Consultant to support develop and grow relationships with a range of clients throughout the region.

    Your main duties will include;

    * Servicing new and existing clients and liaising with staff at various levels.

    * Develop excellent relationships with all key contacts.

    * Ensure you provide high level candidate care, as you take them through the recruitment process.

    * Complete a range of telephone screening and interviewing processes to ensure your clients receive the best candidates on the market.

    * Collate KPI information for the use in HR Reports.

    * Support in the analysis of data.

    * Complete a range of recruitment administration and compliance checks and duties.

    * Ensure all client information is accurately recorded onto the company database system.

    * Organise new starter inductions and training.

    * Provide a high level of customer service at all times.

    About you;

    * A customer service type background with the desire to succeed in recruitment.

    * Previous experience of working within an office environment would be preferred.

    * Any experience working in permanent recruitment would be preferred though not essential.

    * Able to demonstrate good tenure/longevity in job roles.

    * Able to work in a fast-moving target driven environment.

    * Possess drive, tenacity and be hard working.

    * Naturally customer orientated.

    * Driving licence and access to your own car.
