Bricklayer/ Mason

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Mason to join a busy construction team in Newcastle. This role involves working on a variety of residential projects, delivering high-quality brickwork or stonework to a strong standard.

Job specification:

* Laying bricks, blocks, and/or stone to detailed specifications

* Reading and working from technical drawings and plans

* Preparing and mixing mortar

* Carrying out repairs and restoration work where needed

* Ensuring work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines

* Maintaining a safe and organised work environment

* Working closely with site managers and other trades

Person Specification:

* Proven experience as a Mason / Bricklayer / Stonemason

* Valid CSCS card (essential)

* Strong attention to detail and workmanship

* Ability to read and interpret construction drawings

* Good understanding of health and safety on site

* Own tools and PPE

* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
