How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The leadership team is now seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead manufacturing operations and drive performance across the production function

    Head of Production – The Role:

    This is a key leadership role within a large manufacturing operation. The Head of Production will take responsibility for leading all production and assembly activities, ensuring operational efficiency, product quality and on-time delivery across the manufacturing facility.

    The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing production strategy, improving manufacturing processes and building a high-performing production team capable of supporting ongoing business growth.

    Head of Production – Key Responsibilities:

    -Lead all manufacturing and assembly operations to ensure productivity, efficiency and quality targets are achieved

    -Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production processes, workflow and operational performance

    -Introduce and monitor production KPIs, reporting and performance metrics

    -Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements and operational efficiencies

    -Manage production budgets, operational costs and manufacturing performance

    Head of Production – You:

    -Proven experience leading Production within a manufacturing and assembly environment

    -Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production planning and continuous improvement methodologies

    -Experience managing large-scale production teams within a fast-paced manufacturing setting

    -Demonstrated ability to improve productivity, efficiency and operational performance

    -Comfortable operating within a growing and evolving business environment

    -Experience implementing KPIs, lean manufacturing and performance improvement initiatives
