Your Role
As a Qualified Lecturer, you will design, develop, and deliver engaging learning materials across multiple modules or within a specialised subject area. You will ensure the effective delivery of teaching programmes in alignment with the University’s strategy, policies, and procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to initiatives that promote innovative teaching practises and may engage in research activities.
This role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated and dynamic professional passionate about inspiring learners and upholding high educational standards. You will support and instruct learners in accordance with prescribed curriculum guidelines.
Key Requirements
QTS or PCET qualification – essential for this role
Childcare or Health and Social Care qualifications (desirable but not essential)
Level 3 or Coaching qualification related to Education (desirable)
Experience in learning support roles, including skills development, pastoral care, or well-being (desirable)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with proven experience in managing challenging behaviours
A clear commitment to learner support and well-being, adopting an inclusive, learner-centred approach
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including young people, parents, external organisations, and academic colleagues
