How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Year 5/6 Teacher – Full-time, long-term temporary and ongoing from September 2026The inspection report highlights a positive and well‑structured school environment where pupils demonstrate strong behaviour and positive attitudes to learning. Teaching is purposeful and engaging, supporting pupils to make good progress across the curriculum. The Year 5/6 Teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that support pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary education. This role is ideal for a confident and committed KS2 teacher who is looking for consistency and the chance to make a meaningful impact from September 2026.Duties as Year 5/6 Teacher:
    Plan and deliver engaging lessons for a mixed Year 5/6 class in line with the national curriculum
    Create a positive, inclusive, and well‑managed classroom environment
    Support pupils’ academic progress and preparation for Key Stage 2 assessments
    Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
    Differentiate lessons to support pupils with a range of abilities
    Maintain clear routines and high expectations for behaviour
    Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum planning and consistency
    Support pupils’ social, emotional, and personal development
    Communicate effectively with parents and carers where required
    Uphold safeguarding, welfare, and health and safety responsibilities at all timesIdeal Year 5/6 Teacher:
    Holds Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
    Experience teaching in upper Key Stage 2
    Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
