How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

A boutique, ultra high-end construction consultancy based in London is seeking a polished and client-facing Project Quantity Surveyor to join their specialist team. This is a rare opportunity for a Project Quantity Surveyor to operate exclusively within the super prime residential sector, delivering some of London's most prestigious private residences and luxury refurbishments. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be immersed in projects where craftsmanship, detail, and discretion are paramount. This Project Quantity Surveyor role places the individual at the heart of delivery, working closely with high-net-worth clients, architects, and elite design teams. The Project Quantity Surveyor will join a consultancy renowned for its precision, personal service, and deep understanding of the super prime market. For a Project Quantity Surveyor seeking exposure to truly exceptional projects, this opportunity is unmatched.

    The Project Quantity Surveyor's role

The Project Quantity Surveyor will manage the full commercial lifecycle of super prime residential schemes, from early-stage cost advice through to final account. The Project Quantity Surveyor will take ownership of procurement strategies, carefully selecting and managing specialist contractors and high-end supply chains. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will be heavily involved in client and design meetings, ensuring cost plans align with bespoke design intent and evolving specifications. The Project Quantity Surveyor will also administer contracts, typically under JCT, while maintaining tight cost control across highly detailed and design-sensitive projects.

    The Project Quantity Surveyor

The ideal Project Quantity Surveyor will have 3-6 years' experience within a consultancy or client-side environment, ideally with exposure to high-end residential or luxury fit-out projects. A Project Quantity Surveyor must be confident managing procurement and navigating complex, design-led schemes. Strong knowledge of JCT contracts is essential for this Project Quantity Surveyor role. A degree in Quantity Surveying or similar is expected, with MRICS or working towards seen as advantageous. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be highly detail-oriented, discreet, and confident working in a client-facing environment.

    In Return?

    £55,000 - £60,000 salary (depending on experience)
London-based role working exclusively on super prime residential projects
    Exposure to high-profile, design-led schemes
Strong client interaction and project ownership
Clear progression within a niche, high-performing consultancy
