Industrial Electrician

Nelson Permanent Placements are working with our client who are Industrial Electrician. This is an excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a leading engineering services company working at a busy manufacturing facility in Burton Latimer. This is a varied and hands-on role carrying out both reactive maintenance and planned electrical work across site. The successful candidate will join a professional maintenance team supporting critical operations within a fast-paced industrial environment.

To be considered for this role as an Industrial Electrician you will have:

* Previous experience working within a manufacturing, industrial or production environment

* NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent Electrical qualification

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification

* Experience working with 415VAC-24VDC systems and knowledge of 3 phase and single phase motors

* Experience installing and maintaining lighting circuits and LED lighting systems

* Experience with containment systems including ladder rack, conduit and baske and experience with cable glanding including SWA and SY cables

* ATEX glanding experience would be advantageous

* Experience with panel wiring, control panels and safety circuits

* Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and wiring diagrams

* Good understanding of BS60204 and IP2X standards

* Strong awareness of health & safety within industrial environments

* Good communication and customer service skills

The key responsibilities of this role as an Industrial Electrician are:

* Carrying out reactive electrical maintenance and emergency breakdown repairs

* Completing planned electrical maintenance and improvement works

* Installing, repairing and maintaining electrical systems across site

* Working on motors, control panels, lighting systems and containment installations

* Completing electrical work orders to a high standard

* Updating and closing work orders using the company ERP system

* Working closely with the wider maintenance and engineering teams

* Following all health & safety procedures and company standards

* Maintaining strong communication with management and site teams

* Supporting continuous improvement and minimising production downtime

The employment package for an Industrial Electrician is:

* Salary of £41,600 (O.T.E £57,200)

* Corby Based
