We are seeking a passionate and reliable Chef to join our catering team at a vibrant Private School in Romsey. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a structured environment with a great work-life balance.
馃搷 Location: Romsey
馃晵 Hours: Monday to Friday with one Weekend day per term for open days
馃搮 Working Pattern:
路 Monday - Friday: 11:00 - 19:00
路 馃搯 Contract: Term time only (44 weeks per year)
路 馃捈 Overtime: Optional, available during non-term periods or special events
路 Salary is 拢16.48 per hour (拢23,638)
What You'll Be Doing:
路 Preparing and serving nutritious meals for students and staff
路 Ensuring food safety and hygiene standards are met
路 Supporting menu planning and stock control
路 Working collaboratively with the catering team to deliver high-quality service
What We're Looking For:
路 Previous experience as a chef or cook (ideally in an education or similar setting)
路 A passion for food and service
路 Strong understanding of food safety and allergen management
路 Ability to work independently and as part of a team
