Are you a hands-on Field Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Electrical Engineer looking for an international role working on advanced industrial equipment?
We are supporting a growing engineering business that delivers high-value capital equipment and automated systems across the UK, Europe, and globally. Due to continued expansion, they are seeking a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team.
This is a field-based role offering a high level of autonomy, regular international travel, and the opportunity to work on complex electro-mechanical and PLC-controlled systems.
The Role:
You will be responsible for installing, commissioning, maintaining, and servicing equipment at customer sites across the UK and EMEA region.
Key Responsibilities include:
Installation and commissioning of electro-mechanical and automated equipment
Fault finding across electrical, mechanical, and control systems
Working with PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems
Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance
Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and P&ID drawings
Producing service reports and technical documentation
Supporting customers with technical training and on-site expertise
Candidate Profile:
We are looking for candidates with:
Experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer, or Commissioning Engineer
Strong electrical bias with supporting mechanical knowledge
Experience working with PLC-controlled systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
Familiarity with industrial equipment such as pumps, valves, pneumatics, or steam systems
Ability to work independently in customer-facing environments
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 25-30%)
